Manson’s Way Athletics is built on the foundation of technique, discipline, mindset, and player development. Led by Coach Martin Manson Jr., the program focuses on helping athletes improve their defensive back skills, football IQ, confidence, and overall approach to the game. Training is designed to teach athletes how to move with purpose, understand leverage, improve footwork, compete with confidence, and develop the habits needed to perform at a higher level.
Coach Manson brings real playing and coaching experience to every athlete he works with. A former scholarship athlete at Southern Connecticut State University, he was a four-year All-Conference performer, three-time All-ECAC honoree, and pre-season All-American. His playing career continued professionally with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats of the Canadian Football League, along with several arena football organizations.
Now serving as the Defensive Coordinator at St. Thomas More, Martin Manson Jr. has built a strong reputation for defensive leadership, player development, and preparing athletes for the next level. His coaching background includes multiple defensive roles across high school and college football, where he has helped develop competitive defenses, improve player performance, and create environments where athletes can grow on and off the field.
At Manson’s Way Athletics, the mission is simple: train athletes with detail, build their mindset, and help them own the field. Whether an athlete is just beginning their football journey or preparing for the next level, Coach Manson provides the knowledge, energy, and experience needed to help them grow into smarter, tougher, and more complete football players.
